September 8, 2026Dj Albert was super professional in his communication with me throughout the process. During my wedding he provided music from pre-ceremony all the way to our last dance. He brought his wife with him to help him with things which I thought was interesting. But overall he kept the vibes hyped up and the dance floor full

May 11, 2026We requested One Up DJs for our 90th anniversary celebration at Texas Trust Credit Union. Albert was very accommodating and easy to book. His playlist was perfect for the occasion, everyone enjoyed his music. He had the mayors or Arlington and Grand Prairie dancing along with our CEO. We absolutely recommend and would book DJ Albert again.

What to Expect: Working With [One Up DJs]
1. The Planning Phase (Post-Booking)
Once the contract is signed, the creative work begins. You aren’t just hiring a "playlist," you’re hiring a producer for your event’s atmosphere.
Planning Portal: Access to an online planning tool or shared document to list your "Must Plays," "Do Not Plays," and special requests.
Consultation Call: A deep-dive meeting 4–6 weeks before the event to finalize the timeline and name pronunciations for intros.
Vendor Coordination: I’ll reach out to your venue to ensure our schedules and power needs are aligned.
2. Before the Music Starts (Setup)
I believe the setup should be heard, not seen.
Early Arrival: I arrive 60–90 minutes before the first guest walks in to ensure everything is tested.
Clean Aesthetics: High-end audio equipment with "hidden" cabling so your photos stay beautiful.
Sound Check: Precise volume leveling tailored to the acoustics of your specific room.
3. During the Event (Performance)
This is where the magic happens. Here is how I manage the energy:
The "Vibe" Transition: Smooth transitions from cocktail hour (mellow/upbeat) to dinner (conversational) to the dance floor (high energy).
Professional Emceeing: Clear, confident announcements without being "cheesy" or overbearing.
Active Request Management: I handle guest requests with intuition, ensuring they fit your pre-approved style and keep the floor moving.
4. After the Last Song (The Wrap-Up)
Graceful Exit: A high-energy closing song followed by a professional sign-off.
Efficient Strike: I’ll pack up quietly and efficiently, ensuring the venue is left exactly as I found it.
Headline: Decades of Experience. One Unforgettable Night.
