We hired this DJ for our Grand Opening Celebration & Food Truck Rodeo at Pradera Estates, and he absolutely delivered! The energy was amazing from start to finish, the crowd was engaged, the music kept the vibe going all day, and we got so many compliments from our residents and guests. We booked Nick for our elementary school AutumnFest. I was so impressed with the ideas he presented for the kids to have a good time, playing games, planning a clean family-friendly playlist and having prizes for the kids to win. Communication was great for the month leading up to the event. He graciously provided a playlist for us to get pre-approved by our administration a week before the event and he showed up on time and kept the vibes high! Thanks Nick!

Technical Requirements
Groovy Sound Productions provides a complete professional DJ setup, including sound system, DJ controller/mixer, wireless microphone support, music playback equipment, and dance floor lighting when included in the package. We arrive self-contained, prepared, and ready to deliver a clean, professional setup for weddings, corporate events, private parties, and special celebrations.
To ensure the best possible setup and performance, we typically need the following:
A dedicated standard 120V electrical outlet within 25 feet of the DJ setup area.
A 6-foot or 8-foot table for DJ equipment, unless a DJ booth or table is provided as part of the package.
A flat, stable setup area or stage space, ideally at least 6’x6’.
Access to the setup area approximately 60–90 minutes before the event start time for load-in, setup, sound check, and final testing.
For outdoor events, a covered or shaded setup area is required to protect equipment from rain, direct sunlight, extreme heat, wind, and unexpected weather.
For larger events, multiple rooms, ceremonies, outdoor spaces, video DJ setups, karaoke, or additional audio needs, we may require extra setup time, additional space, or additional power access depending on the final event layout.
Our goal is to make the technical side of your event simple and stress-free. We coordinate in advance with clients, planners, and venues to confirm setup location, power access, timing, microphone needs, and any special requirements so everything is ready before guests arrive.

Every event with Groovy Sound Productions is completely customized to the client. We don’t use pre-made playlists — we build each set around your crowd, theme, and energy.
Our music library spans Top 40, Latin, Hip-Hop, R&B, 70s–2000s dance classics, Country, and EDM, allowing us to adapt to any crowd in real time. For weddings, we incorporate your must-play songs, cultural selections, and special moments (first dance, parent dances, anniversary dance, etc.) into a perfectly timed flow.
In short, every set is unique — expertly mixed live to match the vibe of your event and keep the dance floor full all night.
Setup requirements
