I am an experienced, energetic, and professional performer who knows how to make an event feel special. With a background spanning jazz, pop, funk, and R&B, I’m comfortable adapting my sound and performance style to fit everything from weddings and private parties to corporate events, cocktail hours, and nightlife.

I’m an engaging performer who knows how to read the room, connect with an audience, and bring the right amount of energy to every event. Whether you want laid-back background music or a high-energy performance that gets people moving, I tailor my approach to your event and your vision.

As someone with extensive experience in the music business, I understand what goes into making an event run smoothly. I’m communicative, organized, responsive, punctual, and easy to work with from the first inquiry through the final note. I’ll work with you to understand exactly what you’re looking for and make sure the music is one less thing you have to worry about.

Olivia Hughart is a jazz and pop saxophonist, woodwind doubler, composer, advocate, and a graduate of New York University, with a major in Jazz Studies and a minor in Public Policy and Management. She is a gigging and recording musician with bands in New York City, Philadelphia, and beyond.

Hughart is a member of Triad Brass, Aberdeen, NYChillHarmonic, the Kal Ferretti Big Band, Barnstorm Brass, and the Grace Fox Big Band. She also performs with wedding band and entertainment companies including the Up All Nighters, Brooklyn Beats, and Bounce Entertainment. Hughart leads her own 6 piece funk, r&b, and pop sextet called "The Wiley," who perform frequently in Philadelphia and NYC.

Hughart has performed at notable venues including The Blue Note, Jazz Gallery, Dizzy's Club, Birdland, Nublu, the Bitter End, The Sultan Room, Public Records, and at events including Times Square New Years Eve, NYC Pride Parade, "On Brand" with Jimmy Fallon, and at Yankee Stadium with the Savannah Bananas.

My setup is flexible and designed to work in a variety of event spaces. I don’t require a stage or any specific lighting setup.

I have my own wireless microphone that can connect to the venue’s sound system, making it easy to move around the room and interact with guests when appropriate. I also have LED lights that attach to my saxophone, adding an extra pop of color and a fun visual element to the performance, which are especially great for evening events and parties.

For most events, I’m able to work with the venue’s existing setup and have minimal technical requirements. I’m happy to coordinate with event planners, DJs, venues, or sound engineers in advance to make sure everything is ready to go.
