Juan Pedro Jiménez is a professional flamenco singer and guitarist originally from Cádiz, Spain, with more than 20 years of experience performing flamenco in Spain and the United States.

Raised surrounded by flamenco and performing from an early age with the Gypsy family group Romeros de Vejer, Juan Pedro developed a deep connection to the traditional music and culture of Andalusia. His musical background combines flamenco singing and guitar with formal studies in music education and years of professional experience performing alongside singers, guitarists, dancers, and musicians.

Since moving to the New York area, Juan Pedro has performed extensively throughout the Tri-State area and across the United States, working with flamenco companies, cultural organizations, private events, theaters, schools, libraries, and community programs. His work includes performances with established flamenco artists and dancers, as well as appearances at cultural celebrations, Hispanic heritage events, festivals, private parties, and educational programs.

His performances can range from intimate solo singing and guitar to full flamenco ensembles featuring professional dancers and percussion. Depending on the event, he can provide traditional flamenco, festive flamenco rumba, or a combination of both. His repertoire also includes Latin American songs adapted to a flamenco style, creating an engaging experience for audiences who may be discovering flamenco for the first time.

Juan Pedro is also a dedicated music educator. He has experience teaching guitar, singing, music fundamentals, and flamenco to children and adults, including bilingual educational programs and performances designed for schools and community organizations.
