What to expect
Old River Road is experienced playing everything from intimate parties to hopping nightclubs and can adjust our sets to suit. Equipment to play a living room up to a P.A. powerful enough for a 300 person outdoor party. While there is just the two of us we switch up Vocal leads and instrument combinations to keep it interesting.
About
Two Country Boys Playing the Alt Country tunes of today. Not the "Pop Country" you're hearing on the Radio but the Real thing. Influenced by Hank SR and JR Cash from the traditional side, and Uncle Tupolo and Son Volt from the Alt Country side.
Daniels gritty smokey vocals and bluesy harmonica, and Alberts silky to sizzling slide guitar work will keep your ears happy and your toes tapping.

A 4 foot by 8 foot space with a good 120 volt power source is the minimum requirement.

Influences and inspiration
Albert grew up listening to and playing 1950's Country and Rockabilly, and studied Jazz at SRJC and Merrit college.
Daniel musical main influence is the founder of the Alt Country movement Uncle Tupolos Jay Farrar, and the next Jay Farrar group Son Volt. Turtles and Gillian Welch.
Combined it makes for a interesting mix of old and new, traditional and cutting edge alt country.
