Ola Dada

Ola is known for his fun, light-hearted comedy and uses his life experience as material – being raised in Fort McMurray in a Nigerian home, living in Vancouver, and the contrast in values and views on life, religion, and relationships.

Ola Dada is one of the fastest rising stars in the country with his recent appearance on the newest season of Canada’s Got Talent as a semifinalist (2022). He has just released his debut comedy album with 604 Records called DADA PLAN. Ola has performed with international comedians such as Godfrey, White Yardie, Okey Bakassi, Andrew Santino, Rosebud Baker, Bryan Simpson, and Bovi. He placed runner-up on Canada’s largest comedy competition SiriusXM top comic (2019). He has performed at Just for Laughs Northwest, Vancouver, and Toronto and has also been featured on CBC Gem The New Wave of Stand Up, which was also broadcast across the country. His hit comedy show Blackout Comedy will be featured at the 2022 Just For Laughs Vancouver festival.

My Performance requires a Microphone and a good sound system. A stage, mic stand, spotlight, and stool would be ideal but not necessary. I can provide a full-service show, which includes me bringing other acts, a sound engineer / DJ, a microphone, and a sound system but at an additional cost.
