Overview

Off The Grid Band is a diverse versatile three piece, audience interactive band that plays fun, happy foot stomping, dance music. We are a German/Czech polka band than can easily transform into Classic Country, Classic Rock, Cajun/Zydeco, or Irish group all within the same musical set, that's why we are called "Off The Grid". We are looking to play festivals, private parties, corporate functions, and other events in Texas and beyond. We have just recorded a 9 song demo CD that is getting airplay on 23 radio stations throughout the Mid-West and Texas. We have played Oktoberfest in Addison Texas 2016, and 2017, Fort Worth, 2015, 2016,& 2017, Fredericksburg 2015, 2016, 2017 and F1 race 2015.

Off the Grid Makes Octoberfest The Best Ever!

We were absolutely amazed at the fabulous music that the three piece Polka Band, Off the Grid, were able to play. Once they started playing, our residents left the cool indoors to listen to some hot Polkas. Not only were they entertaining, but they were true musicians as well. The audience started asking for requests. Imagine our delight when "Paint it Black" by the Rolling Stones was set to a polka beat! Not only that, but the requests kept coming and they kept up, playing the classic rock hits in true rock fashion. The evening turned into a Rock and Roll Sing-a Long!
The day after the party, we heard everyone buzzing about the BEST party we have hosted EVER!
Thank you so much Off the Grid. And we'll be booking you again for our Octoberfest 2025.

Thanks you so much for the kind words. Your party was a blast for us to play for. We enjoy engaging the audience into the music. You would not think that three old guys in lederhosen would play the variety of music styles that we play in our sets. We look forward to playing future events for your residents. Come see us at Wurstfest in New Braunfels.

Leveled Up our Birthday Party

Our family hired off the grid band to play for our matriarch 90th birthday party in Austin. She’s German and they nailed it! They had everyone moving and dancing and laughing, and I have gotten nothing but positive comments from all of our family in the days since Highly recommend . Versatile music! Lively and fun!

Polka and More

Off The Grid played outstanding music at our Oktoberfest. Everyone loved the music and it kept us on our feet.
They used a variety of instruments to add to their performance and it sounded like they had more people playing with them than just the three. Great job guys!

Thank you Lisa, you did a great job of organizing, and coordinating this event. I would say it was a great success for your first Oktoberfest. I hope you will have us back for future events.
