Gyorgy Lakatos

Opening "cocktail hour" music played on the keyboard was mundane and kind of hard to listen to. The party was said to "pick up" and get more upbeat for dinner. It did not. The music was off key really bad, most songs didnt play as they should. Much of the music was played through the internet with little to no actual singing (as was advertised over the phone) and the instruments played off key. To say it was palatable is a stretch. Cost a lot of money (paid for 6 hours and got 5) and wasn't worth even half of that. They wanted money as quick as possible...which worried me too but when they got paid (a couple hours into the gig) they basically seemed to give up. I am sad as this was a very important event and I paid a lot for such a disappointment.:(

We went to the Funky Biscuit in Boca Raton to see Gyorgy and his band. First set was Santana tunes and the band did great. Second set was Gypsy Kings and the band was phenomenal. This was as good as any guitar show you will ever see in your life. I am a very seasoned concert goer, have seen many big shows, this was special. Gyorgy's technique is flawless and he puts on a great show. The variety of his music is all over map, Gyorgy can play anything and make it sound better than the original. Book Gyorgy!!

Gyorgy was so great at keeping in touch with me and making sure I got what I wanted. He played so well. I was so happy to have him play at my wedding.
