Conversations with Santa!
+ Children can ask Santa questions, Santa will ask children questions, including “what they would like for Christmas.”
+ This is the time to take individual and family pictures

Story time (time permitting)
+ Enchanting tales: if time allows, Santa may share delightful stories about life at the North Pole, or read in a book to the children.

Gift exchange
+ If the families are providing gifts, Santa will present them, which will add excitement to Santa‘s visit.

Group pictures
+ Memorable photo opportunity: Before leaving, a group photo with all who attended is always a special photo that is often forgotten!

Fun activities.
+ Interactive engagements: Time permitting and arranged ahead of time. Santa may involve children in festive games or crafts, enchanting, the enjoyable spirit of the holidays.

Grand exit!
+ Santa concludes the visit with the grand exit, waving goodbye and leaving everybody with the warmth of the holiday spirit and a promise to return Christmas Eve!

Hello, I am Santa John, operating as North Star Santa across Solano, Napa, and Contra Costa counties, including Benicia, Vallejo, Napa, Fairfield, Vacaville, Martinez, and Concord.
​To me, being Santa is all about spreading kindness and bringing back a real sense of belief. It is about knowing that a quiet moment of genuine connection can brighten someone's whole season.
​My background has always been rooted in serving our community. Starting in 1988, I spent 13 years as a volunteer firefighter in Benicia, and I also spent decades coaching local youth sports. Those years taught me how to talk with folks of all ages, listen with patience, and make people feel comfortable right away.
​I have six total years of experience portraying Santa. That includes four years as a volunteer Santa, with two of those years spent as the Santa for the Glen Cove Christmas house, followed by two years of working as a professional Santa. I am a real bearded Santa and I hold my certification through the Worldwide Santa Claus Network.
​When you book me for a home visit, company party, community event, or photo session, here is what you can expect from me.
​I never rush through an interaction. I take the time to sit down, pay attention, and really listen to what children have to say. I know how to gently ease nervous toddlers into the room, how to get teenagers and adults laughing, and how to make sure grandparents feel included in the memory.
​Whether we are reading a story, passing out gifts, or just chatting by the tree, I bring authentic warmth, humor, and respect to your gathering.
