No More Somedays

Our bookings include the following:

*Live singing by a male and female vocalist duo, with the option to have us dressed in costume or theme for your event.

*Live musical accompaniment by a guitarist, who also can provide live percussion playing foot drums! (Additional or alternate instruments or percussion can also be requested: keyboard, guitarviol, chimes, shaker, etc.)

*Sound equipment (microphones, speaker/monitor, mixer, instruments) + set up and tear down provided

*A performance and song choices customized for your event's theme, mood and audience.

*High quality theatrical costuming if requested (theme options include, but aren't limited to: decades/eras style (1920s-Y2K!) fairytale characters like princesses & princes, mermaids & fairies, hipster mermaid looks, halloween or horror characters, vampires, classic monsters, etc. We can provide costuming inspired by known or original characters, and will work with you to ensure our costuming fits your theme and vision. The sky's the limit!

*We're friendly, accommodating, self-contained and punctual. We're here to make your entertainment a smooth and stress-free experience!

*We generally request a 15 minute break for each hour onstage, to ensure costuming and energy levels stay up to our highest standards.

*We can often provide set dressing / props / decor upon request, for an additional fee. (ie: singing on a Giant Moon, or in front of theatrical curtains, bringing in a themed set-scape, lighting, fog, etc. We work closely with talented photobooth vendors and set designers whose services can be added on as needed. (Outside of our "It's A Scream!" Live Show, we don't automatically provide any set dressing, beyond ourselves dressed in theme, and our sound equipment).

*Mermaid tail bookings are an additional charge, and require a changing room onsite + more careful planning to allow for transportation on and off stage. The tails we use restrict walking and movement, so we may need to bring in extra equipment for safety and transport. (Please note Traci will be performing her portion of the entire show seated with all mermaid tail bookings).

*Our "It's A Scream!" mini musical comedy stage show has it's own stage requirements, please inquire for more info.!

Hello! We are No More Somedays-a So Cal based pop duo consisting of musical artists Kurt Hunter, and Traci Oden (formerly Traci Hines). We love playing your favorite Pop hits (from the 1920s to the 2020s!) and specialize in providing live music for themed events. We're flexible, and can arrive as ourselves in attire that matches the tone of your event...or we can add some character! We love bringing characters and themes to life with bespoke costuming, in shows customized for each booking's needs.

Our musical styles start with modern pop but also include other genre influences, like rock, jazz, funk, r&b and country. (We're also known to throw in some Disney tunes when the occasion arises!) We love curating our set lists to accommodate each venue and audience, and have a wide repertoire that allows us to 'read the room' for a seamless set list update on the fly when needed. Our main priorities will always be your satisfaction as the client, and giving your audience a fantastic experience.

Originally hailing from the New Orleans area, Kurt Hunter now resides in Southern California. Kurt has played music in over 35 states, and 5 countries. His songs have been featured on television, film, radio and beyond. He began playing guitar at 13, and singing at the age of 17 when he moved to California and began touring with The Young Americans as a performer and teacher. In 2008 Kurt starred in a national commercial for Esurance with a jingle he wrote for the company called "Get Animated." As a performer, Kurt has opened for renowned legacy artists, Bill Medley and Chad Smith, but his talents don't end there-he is also a composer and producer, and produces music with other artists from his home studio: the Costume Room Productions. Some of his producer credits include music for artists like Poppy, Orla Gartland, and Traci, (which is how they met). Kurt's songwriting reflects his love of many types of music, and many of his solo and collaborative projects have been licensed and used for tv and film (MTV, NBC, HGTV) Most recently, Kurt composed a musical version of "The Princess Bride" for the perpetually sold out theater company, All Puppet Players, in Phoenix, AZ (currently on its second run!) Kurt is working on several new album and single projects planned for release in the coming year, along with his work with No More Somedays.

Traci has 16+ years of experience performing live for audiences of all ages, ranging from character work and up close fandom events and conventions, to venues like the Nokia & Verizon Wireless Ampitheater. Some of her past clients for music work include Disney Parks and Merchandising, Square Enix and Studio Ghibli. Traci's a local, born and raised in Orange County, and grew up singing onstage in church and with her dad's blues band at street fairs and events. She gained her following on YouTube, initially singing pop and Disney covers, then parlaying her cosplay and music skills into music video production. Her cinematic cosplay music videos have garnered over 230+ million views to date. She tripped and fell into virality as "Hipster Mermaid" along the way, and strengthened her comedic skills co-creating a comedy webseries for the character. Hipster Mermaid also inspired her mermaid clothing line, Adorkable Apparel, which she ran and designed for for 11 years. Traci has recorded, created content and performed live for Disney Parks, voiced a plethora of national commercials, games and apps, and continues to write and release new music & videos as a solo artist, in addition to her work with No More Somedays.

Traci and Kurt teamed up in 2023 as live performers, but have been a songwriting and production team even longer. Each brings a unique experience and skill set that makes them a powerhouse pairing that can meet a variety of creative needs. Need music production, songwriting, scripting or cinematic music videos for your original or cover projects? Traci and Kurt both have over 15 years experience spearheading high production music and video collaborations with artists, creators and brands.

*Please let us know the size of your venue, so we can bring in the proper amount of speakers / sound amplification. Please also let us know if your venue has speakers onsite that we can plug into.

*We will need power outlets to plug in our sound system and amplify sound.

*Please provide a space for us to perform and set up that has enough space for two performers, mic stands, at least one musician chair and foot drums.

*Please provide a parking space for loading and unloading equipment, and parking for the duration of event.
