I am also available many times on short notice if you're looking for a quick and simple ceremony. (Couple is responsible for obtaining the marriage license from their local county office.) I can meet near the Jasper or Newton County courthouses within the hour on most days. Also available to meet in Joplin very quickly.

August 10, 2025Nickola was great. My husband and I were looking for someone who was open to doing a non-traditional, non-religious ceremony and would basically take the reins on the vows. She offered us something simple or more detailed and I told her short is what we are looking for. We wanted to get straight to the party with our friends and family. We hate long ceremonies and we were praised by our guest that the ceremony was short and sweet. So many of our guests said it was the best wedding they have been too. As an officiant for your wedding ceremony you can expect an open minded, respectful and personal experience when working with me. The details can be just how you want them for your special day. Non-denominational ceremonies can be customized to include as much or as little religious influence as you desire. I am a legally ordained minister through the Universal Life Church, I recently recertified after completing more online courses designed with an open minded, inclusive approach. I was originally ordained in 1999. Customizable ceremonies and vows can be prearranged to set your mind at ease. Rehearsal ceremonies can be scheduled as well.
For event planning, I can play as small or large part as you want for your specific event. Pricing is based on the requested services and availability.
I am available to legally officiate your ceremony with respect for your beliefs.
Theme party/wedding planning has proven to be extremely rewarding and amazing. The sky is truly the limit when that avenue is explored. Open-minded for all denominations, same-sex, etc...
