Overview

I have experience working with a wide variety of clients, including families, couples, and seniors, and I specialize in creating natural, candid images. My approach focuses on helping clients feel comfortable and confident, especially if they are not used to being in front of the camera.

I am skilled at quickly building rapport, giving clear but relaxed direction, and adapting to different personalities and group dynamics. I frequently shoot outdoors, so I am comfortable working in changing lighting and environmental conditions.

I strive to create a smooth, enjoyable experience for every client while capturing genuine, meaningful moments.

What to expect

I'm so excited to work together!! Here's what you can expect from your session:

From the moment you book, I'll guide you through everything-outfit ideas, location options, and how to prepare so you feel completely confident going in.

During your session, I'll gently guide you through poses and prompts, so nothing feels stiff or awkward. My goal is to capture real, natural moments while making sure you feel comfortable and have fun the entire time!

After your session, you'll receive a beautifully edited online gallery where you can download your images and share them with family and friends.

Turnaround time is typically 2-3 weeks for full sessions and 1-2 weeks for mini sessions.

I always aim to deliver as quickly as possible while making sure every image is carefully edited and beautiful.

About

I specialize in candid child, and family photography across Utah. I capture the quiet glances, big laughs, and little in-betweens that make your family yours. I believe the most meaningful photos come from real connection, not perfect poses. My approach is relaxed and unobtrusive- more about being present than being posed. I gently guide when needed, but mostly, I let moments unfold naturally. I want you to laugh, snuggle, explore, and simply be together. My goal is to capture your family just as you are: beautifully imperfect, deeply connected, and full of life. I aim to document life as it naturally unfolds. My mission is simple: to tell true stories through light, timing, and presence.

Additional booking notes

Great question! Here are a few simple things to help your session go smoothly:

-Be on time (golden hour lighting is limited and makes a huge difference in your photos!)
-Come dressed and ready-I'm always happy to help plan outfits ahead of time.
-Choose a location that fits your vision (or I can help you pick the perfect spot!)
-Make sure everyone involved is prepared and ready to go at the scheduled time.
-For outdoor sessions, we may need to reschedule if weather doesn't cooperate.

That's it! I'll guide you through everything else during the session, so you don't have to worry about posing or what to do.

For seniors:
-Bring a second outfit if you want variety
-Clean phone case/no hair ties on wrist

For families:
-Plan around nap times
-Avoid matching exactly-coordinate instead

For your creative/fantasy shoots (this is big for you):
-Any props/outfits should be finalized ahead of time
-Expect a slightly longer session for styling/creative direction

Influences and inspiration

1. Storytelling & Fantasy:
I like creating narratives in your photography, not just capturing a moment-so classic fantasy storytelling, modern adaptations, and character-driven stories clearly inspire me.

(link hidden)lor & Visual Impact:
I love bright, bold colors and imaginative, almost cinematic scenes.
Influences from fantasy art, editorial fashion photography, and cinematic stills where color conveys emotion and story. I like blending storytelling with realism, which points to photographers who bridge editorial and naturalistic approaches.

3. Contemporary & Lifestyle photography:
My emphasis on real, candid moments, especially outdoors, shows influence from lifestyle and portrait photographers who balance posed shots with authenticity. My blending storytelling with realism, points to photographers who bridge editorial and naturalistic approaches.

4.Pop Culture & Character work:
Reimagining Disney characters in modern urban settings indicates influence from pop culture, cosplay, and character art, plus modern reinterpretations of classic icons. I like taking known imagery and giving it a personal, contemporary twist.

5. Creative Experimentation:
I'm excited to expand into sci-fi, superhero, and other fantasy genres, showing a willingness to experiment with new visual topes and aesthetics. This points to influences from comic book art, concept art, and stylized commercial photography.

Setup requirements

My setup is minimal and designed to be efficient. I mainly shoot outdoors so an area with good lighting.
