Navah Mirage

Navah Mirage will be sure to provide you with a fun and lively belly dance performance that will delight an audience of all ages. She specializes in multiple styles of belly dance. By answering a few simple questions designed to help her understand your goal clear communication will be established and the show will be tailored to you.

Beautiful costuming with extra attention to the sparkling details can be expected. Developing a sense of mystery Navah enters with a 3.5 yard silk veil and performs her first piece with veil mastery. She will often then dance to a piece of music selected specifically for your event. Soon after she well perform a drum solo where her specialty lies in accenting the music with her body using articulated movements and plenty of fiery shimmies. Finally the perfect opportunity arises for a sword dance where flexibility and balance is displayed. Followed by an exiting party song.
For a small event 15 minutes to 30 minutes is a comfortable length of show. For a larger event one hour is great. For a show longer than one hour a 15 minute break may be included.

All special requests will be considered to be sure to offer the best show per your expectations.

For events that require more than one dancer Navah Mirage can provide up to seven performers.

I chose this simple name because it evoked the concept I hope our viewers will feel while enjoying the performance.
From a very young age I had an unexplained interest and curiosity about Middle Eastern Dance. Later in life I discovered my heritage has roots in the Middle East. The allure, movement, and the costuming would soon prove to be impossible not to explore. In 2001 I could no longer resist exploring belly dance and I took my first class. Oriental Dance found a solid place in my heart. I found the movements mesmerizing, the cultures beautiful and the costuming just as amazing. My desire and curiosity only grew and I took the opportunity to learn to grow with it.

Navah is available for hire. (Teacher, Private Lesson, Performer, Choreographer, Shows, & Events.)
She holds certification in Dance Therapeutics and Gravity Yoga.
