I am a professional percussionist and keyboardist performer, educator, and composer in the NYC Metropolitan Area.
The instruments I play are drum set, vibraphone, latin percussion, piano, keyboards/synthesizers, darbuka, djembe, bucket drumming (yes bucket drums), and orchestral percussion.
I've performed many different types of events including festivals, schools, tours, churches, embassies, studio sessions, restaurants and more.

Whether you need a solo musician or a band for your event, I can help your event be a success and bring the appropriate music. I have years of planning experience under my belt and have planned fundraisers, concerts, and festivals. You will find I am easy to work with and upfront.
When it comes to arranging entertainment, I am well connected to the immense talent pool in the NYC area and am grateful to bring you premium talent with the musicians that I work with.

Currently I lead two groups:
Waterside Vibes, A vibraphone-based group called which plays a blend of jazz, funk, pop, and gospel music,
and Aguilar Brass, a NYC based brass group performing everything from pop, jazz, funk, 2nd line, and polka! Perfect for holidays, Ocktober fest, festivals and more.

Also available as a solo drummer, pianist, and percussionist. Whether you need a studio drummer, church musician, or a sub for a band because your drummer is out, I am here.

I also was an A/V at NIH in 2019, plus I've been providing my own PA systems since I was a teenager playing in bands.
If you need someone to run a sound system for your event, I have a professional equipment and have the know-how to make your event a success.

Finally, I also am a part-time actor/voice actor for hire. I have been featured in several music videos including "Yar" by Faramarz Aslani, "Cold Is" by Dish, and "Say Goodbye" by Dave Marsh.

Bio:
Nathaniel starting playing drums 11, and eventually piano and mallets. He went on to earn his degree in Music from Stetson University. Although he now has his own brass band group, Aguilar Brass, he played drums for Crush Funk Brass from (phone number hidden)2 and also has his own group, Waterside Vibes. Also, he is co-founder and music director for Maryland gospel/CCM group, Blessings Flow.
Nathaniel’s influences are wide; Bernard Purdie, Billy Higgins, Lionel Hampton, Milt Jackson, Jimmy Smith, Andraé Crouch, Chopin, Aphex Twin, Carlos Jobim, just to name a few. He hopes to one day travel the world and play music wherever it will take him. Recent accomplishments include opening for Galactic with Aztec Sun (percussion) and performing at Muriel Bowser’s Inaugural Ball in DC at the Anthem. Nathaniel has also played in a variety groups who opened for Third Day, Sum 41, Paleface, Lymbic System, Nelly’s Echo, and many more.
He is a church frequent musician at Clean Hands and Pure Hearts Ministries in Jamaica, Queens, NY.
Nat works as a music instructor for a non-profit in Manhattan called SNACK* which provides services and activities for young adults and kids with special needs.
