Narita Snead’s presentations are designed to be flexible and easy for event organizers to accommodate, with technical requirements varying based on the type and size of the event.

Sound:

* Wireless or handheld microphone preferred for larger audiences.
* Basic PA/sound system appropriate for the venue and audience size.
* Podium microphone may be used for formal presentations.
* For smaller groups, a microphone may not be necessary.

Presentation Equipment:

* Projector and screen, large monitor, or LED display preferred when a presentation or visual materials are included.
* HDMI connection or compatible presentation interface preferred.
* Narita can coordinate presentation materials with the event organizer in advance.

Lighting & Staging:

* Standard venue lighting is generally sufficient.
* No specialized theatrical lighting or staging is required.
* A small stage, platform, or designated speaking area is helpful for larger events but is not required.
* Speaker should have clear visibility and unobstructed access to the audience.

Accessibility:
Accessibility is an important part of Narita’s programming. Event organizers are encouraged to discuss accessibility needs in advance so the presentation environment can be welcoming and inclusive for all participants--interpreter or closed caption services especially.

Setup:
Please allow approximately 30–60 minutes before the scheduled start time for setup when audiovisual equipment, books, signing, or presentation materials are involved.

Space:
A clean, safe, comfortable speaking area with seating arranged for clear audience visibility is preferred. For children's programs and interactive workshops, additional open space may be helpful for participation and activities.
