Dynamic comedian and motivational speaker who grew up in Detroit, was first in her family to attend college, went on to earn a PhD in social psychology, married a gay man (oops!), adopted two boys, and - when her world collapsed around her in late 2020 (divorced, recovered memories of child sexual abuse— why I was with gay men, and buried her mom and last of her immediate family all inside of 2.5 months) - launched a comedy career. She’s performed at DC Improv, Magooby’s, Piano Keys Lounge, House of Comedy and Jazz, Takoma Station Tavern, and The Port in the DMV aa well as in Philly, Detroit, and Stockholm.
