🎶 Step back into the golden era of the late 60s, 70s, and early 80s with the Musical Stylings of Steve. With hits from the Eagles, Beatles, John Denver, Elton John, Kenny Loggins, and CCR, I try to bring timeless classics to life for easy listening or sing-along fun. A lifelong musician, I have sung and played since childhood and, with my wife, directed Catholic choirs for over 40 years. Now retired from a career at JNJ, I returned to performing many favorites, encouraged by family and friends. Performing regularly at Ellen Memorial, M SoS is also available for private events, weddings, and funerals—creating heartfelt, welcoming atmospheres where everyone feels part of the music.

The "Stylings of Steve" is an appropriate name because he creates new experiences based on the needs of his audience. With his smooth voice, acoustic guitar and background music, you are guaranteed a professional performance with a wonderful musician.

I am not a cheerleader type performer; I am most comfortable playing in the background, but I am very willing to encourage sing a long if preferred.
I was born in Indiana in the late 60s to very young parents who loved to sing. Music was in the house from the start, and I learned harmonies from my mom and family at an early age. At 8, I picked up a guitar, and by 13, I was singing at weddings and leading a youth choir at our Catholic parish. Alongside music, I stayed active in football, basketball, and theatre—earning several awards, including Indiana’s #1 State Musical Soloist my senior year.
As life went on, I continued singing at weddings and built church choirs with my wife wherever my corporate career took us. Together we’ve led choirs in Indiana, Texas, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and even during a two-year stint in Limerick, Ireland.
After retiring in 2022 from a successful career as a Senior Global Director at Johnson & Johnson, my wife and I settled into a lake home near Hawley, PA, where we still lead music at our local church. Recently, I dusted off the songs I loved as a young adult, encouraged by friends and family to share them again.
The name Musical Stylings of Steve was born from a happy accident—someone once called me Steve instead of Ben after a performance at my wife’s work, and it stuck. Now, I sing the tunes I love with the same joy I felt as a kid. I hope you’ll enjoy them too.
