Overview

I am a singer-guitarist with a wide range of material. I have been a solo guitarist for the last five years, after playing in bands for 3 decades.
My song list is extensive. Check out a "Decade's Breakdown" of my songs in the details section. Please ask for the full complete list. I will gladly forward the list to you. (I especially have a great repertoire of 60's/70's tunes, and a full set of Beatles songs!)

Need some cocktail-hour music for your wedding? Some light, cool music at your restaurant? Live music to spice up a special occasion? I'm your Man!

I am always willing to work with you, as the occasion demands.
A special tune? No problem
Some dance tunes? Can Do!

Mr. Pete was great and he nailed all the songs!

We hired Mr. Pete to play background music at a wedding rehearsal dinner we hosted last week. He was wonderful! He played guitar and sang for almost three hours. The guests really enjoyed his music, and he nailed all the songs. We were so pleased with him, and highly recommend him.

It was a great idea for the hosts of the party to have some live music to add to the evening's festivities. There were some beautiful speeches, plenty of food and refreshments, and I think the live music created a nice backdrop to the conversations.......

Couldn’t have been better!

It was a pleasure to meet Pete! He provided perfect background music for us. He was so accommodating and pleasant! Our guests were very pleased and appreciated the special touch he added to the evening! I will book him again for a similar event when the need arises! Thank you!

I was asked to play at a Bridal Shower, which I had never done before, but it worked out great. The folks attending (both ladies and guys) were fun-loving people, and it was a very friendly, lively occasion. I was asked to provide some background music, and I think having live music enhanced the festive mood. I was glad to have been a part of it.

Perfect

Peter was perfect for a recent 40th Birthday party event in Herkimer, NY. The set list was great. Volume was perfect and he was great interacting with the children who danced in front of his setup all day.

Highly recommended

If you’re considering hiring Peter , don’t delay. After our booked entertainer canceled Peter stepped in and more than delivered a wonderful engaging evening. His responses were immediate, he arrived early and stayed late. He was well prepared and his music was excellent. He had everyone engaged, dancing and singing. He was able to read the crowd and was tuned into the event. It I could give him 10
Stars, he definitely deserves it.

What to expect

I have a duel approach to playing. I can be the "Solo Guitarist/Singer", and play very varied, but strictly acoustic, song sets. These are perfect for a smaller dinner crowd, or a cocktail hour before a reception, or a light musical background to an event or gathering.
I also have a drum machine I work with, which gives a real boost to the music, and can lend itself to a more upbeat effect. I would play both acoustic and electric guitars, and try my best to cook in some energy into the atmosphere.

About

I love playing guitar, learning songs, writing songs, and performing. I've been doing it for a long time, and it only gets better. I grew up on the Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and all that great 60's music, with a big dose of Bob Dylan and all the other folk singers added in. I next fell in love with the "New Wave" and played in a band that featured a variety of songs from the Talking Heads, The Police, and The Ramones..to name a few. As music moved through the following decades, I tried to keep up, and now here I am with a whole lot of songs to play .....what I think are some of the best songs ever written.....

Additional booking notes

I have two set-ups. One is very simple: a Bose S1 duel battery operated/plug in sound system......great for anywhere (especially where there isn't an electrical outlet to be found!).
Simple, but very sweet in its sound.
And I have a Yamaha STAGEPAS system, which can fill almost any room with some nice sound.
