Perfect.

MPK was the perfect choice for my daughter's outdoor welcome reception and ceremony. So many guests raved about the quality of MPK. I asked MPK to choose what to play for the processional and recessional. I'm so glad I did. It lent just the right magical touch to the beginning and end of the ceremony.

More than we expected

They were absolutely wonderful! They brought the mood we were hoping for to our event and then some. They even stayed later to finish out what they had prepared.

Inspirational, Educational and Delightful!

We have been blessed to have the MPK Christian Celtic band perform at our annual Wisconsin Christian News Ministry Expo for many years. They have always been the highlight of our day, and many people come to the Expo just to hear MPK! They have a unique sound, and share the history of this music as well as their passion and love for the Lord. If you want an enjoyable experience, and something a little different, you cannot go wrong with MPK!

Thoroughly enjoyable, inspiring musical experience!!

MPK Band is precise and perfectionist in their music. It is a joyful, uplifting mix of pure entertainment, as well as educational and worshipful. The whole group is easy and flexible to work with and still very professional.

What to expect

Anyone who comes to an MPK concert is in for a treat. We are a three generation family band whose sense of humor has not been surgically removed. Most of the Celtic songs we sing are original. Some of our songs are fun loving yet always family oriented. Some of our songs have a powerful message this world needs to hear. Always in-between are the Scottish fiddle tunes, both traditional and original that keeps the blood flowing so no one falls asleep. Anyone is always welcome to dance to the Highland Fling with us! Joanna is our extremely talented, award-winning fiddler who is also a beautiful classical violinist with a major in music performance. Maranatha, our accomplished pianist, will be graduating shortly with a degree in music performance. Our drummer, Noah, is a fine musician on multiple instruments having studied piano for 11 years under a graduate of the Chicago Conservatory of Music. He is currently working towards earning his music degree. The whistle and flute player has been studying her instruments for over 20 years and is the mother of Noah. The grandmother is the band leader, fiddler and guitarist who takes ALL the credit for the musical genes in this family:)
MPK Christian Celtic Band is trustworthy and we deliver on our promises. We provide high quality Celtic music that is always family oriented. We arrive early to gigs and our attitude is one of service. We thoroughly enjoy people and performing for them.

Vince Elmhorst, Maranatha’s husband, is the sound tech for the band, and runs a 20 channel board.

Additional booking notes

We bring our own sound system and tech. We can perform with or without stage. If stage is provided, should be at least 12-15 feet length and depth about 12 feet. We do not have our own lighting. If outdoor gig, would appreciate cover over stage. We can bring our own canopy tent to cover our mixer. We have a 100 foot snake.
