I am a 2x Olympic athlete, an Tokyo 2020 gold medalist. I have been rowing since I was 17. I have started motivational speaking along with Coaching and going back to school. I'm unsure if my career is over but in the meantime offering keynote speaking about my Journey to a gold medal

As an athlete, I have a unique story of our journey to the Olympics. I have had amazing feedback while telling my story as a keynote speaker for corporate events, Highschool athletes, Dance studios, and opening ceremony events. I am happy to have conversations about my athletic career or even chat about the struggles of highs and lows as an athlete.
Lisa Roman grew up in Langley, B.C. and started rowing at the age of 17.
She joined the under 23 national team in 2011 and made the national team in 2013. Over the last decade Lisa has competed for Canada internationally at 10 World cup regattas, 6 World championships, the 2016 Rio Olympics and the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Lisa is currently a Tokyo Olympic Gold medalist in the Women’s 8+. She has encountered many obstacles and moments of adversity, but she is a dedicated athlete and no stranger to hard work. Lisa’s leadership and perseverance helped her to attain what would be considered the highest standard of athletic achievement.
