This depends on the situations and circumstances. I can sing a quick solo or play for an entire evening at a party. Whatever is required.

I've been a public school choral teacher for a few decades, grades 6 through 12. I've been a church musician (piano, organ and choir director) for several decades as well. Off and on, I've given private piano lessons and singing lessons. Another fun pass-time for me is performing in the chorus of musicals and operas, mostly back in Iowa and now with New Century Opera in Pinellas County in Florida. I play several gigs each year, and am available for New Year's Eve, graduation parties, weddings and receptions, funeral services, mother-daughter teas, and other events. I accompany students at solo and ensemble contest and when needed for performances. I've even played at restaurants nearby.
I can play anywhere from 15 minutes to 3 or more hours, depending on the situation. My favorite songs to sing are church-related, easy listening, Broadway, but will try most anything out there.

A good acoustic piano would be great, or an electric piano if no other available.
