Montuno Jazz Band

If anyone booked us they can expect a Jazz Band with high energy and a big band sound. There will be pieces that are upbeat and some that are smooth. There will be multiple solos across the board and In between songs there will be a barbershop quartet that will sing Christmas carols during the holiday season and other barbershop songs throughout the year.

Montuno Jazz is a jazz band composed of local High School students playing a multitude of different styles from holiday favorites to classics. Montuno was created with the intention to provide their services for holiday shows, gigs and more. Montuno Jazz provides the full jazz sound you could expect with all the pieces necessary to put on a superior performance such as a variety of woodwind, brass, stringed instruments and more. The core values of Montuno Jazz Band are the desire to provide joy and music to all. Montuno Jazz looks forward to playing at your next big event.

We have amps, microphones, and speakers. None of that has to be supplied. Lighting isnt huge, just light enough to be able to see our music, and for staging, we just need enough room to be able to fit a electric piano, drumset, 3 trumpets, 4 saxophones, 2 trombones, 1 guitar player, 1 bass player, and a couple amps.
