My name is Veronica Karas. I’m a Certified Financial Planner™ Professional, and have been working in the finance industry since 2008. I started by working for a life insurance company, then spent about six months working for a large investment research firm. I was then lucky enough to get hired to work as a full-time marketing associate for a small Registered Investment Advisor (RIA).

Clients started to come to me with their questions since I was working in a finance firm, and I became interested in pursuing the Certified Financial Planner™ designation (yes, they make us write it in all CAPS like that). I earned that designation in 2012 and have since been working directly with individuals from all walks of life, helping them to get their financial house in order, minimize their tax burden, maximize their savings and investment earnings, organize their estate planning, figure out what kind of insurance and how much they need, and everything else that touches their financial lives. I’ve paid bills for clients, purchased boats and cars for clients, helped them sell their homes, helped them buy the home of their dreams, helped them send their kids to college, planned their dream trips, and planned their retirement. Amid this time, I spent about 8 months working for a large brokerage firm – a disaster of an experience that didn’t align with my personal moral compass and went running right back to the RIA world where I genuinely feel blessed to be every single day.

I have worked with ultra-high-net worth individuals, individuals with loads of debt, individuals who never had money and are suddenly inheriting a boat load, and basically everyone in between. I have a deep-seeded passion for helping people making sound financial decisions and become financially independent. I love my work every single day and I am so grateful for every single client and colleague I’ve had the pleasure of working with.

On a more personal note: I’m a dog lover and rescuer, currently the proud mom to 3 fur babies. I live with my amazing husband and our crazy fur-family in Port Washington, NY. I’m also a Registered Yoga Teacher, Buti Yoga, Hot Buti Yoga, and Vinyasa Yoga instructor and an IIN certified health coach.

My natural voice is pretty loud so no worries about sound.
