Whether you’re bringing me in to help coordinate an event or speak at one, you can expect someone who is organized, adaptable, creative, and genuinely invested in making the experience work.

For event planning and coordination, I’m comfortable taking an idea and helping turn it into something real. I can help with planning, logistics, schedules, vendors, participants, setup, day-of coordination, and the inevitable unexpected things that come up along the way.

I especially enjoy community gatherings, workshops, retreats, family and educational events, pop-ups, and events that don’t fit neatly into a standard template.

If you’re booking me as a speaker or workshop facilitator, I bring together personal story, practical insight, and more than twenty years of experience across entrepreneurship, human development, alternative education, and community building. Talks and workshops can be adapted to your audience and the goals of your event.

Most importantly, I’m hands-on. I’m happy to jump in, solve problems, move things around, talk to people, and do what needs to be done to help an event come together.

I’ve spent more than 15 years creating events, experiences, and spaces that bring people together.

My event experience began in Los Angeles, where I founded Kizomba LA and organized dance events featuring international instructors. Since then, I’ve created and coordinated pop-up events, personal growth gatherings, worldschooling experiences, workshops, family events, and community gatherings.

I’m especially drawn to events that are a little outside the box. I love taking an idea, figuring out the moving pieces, and turning it into an experience that actually works for the people in the room.

I’m also a speaker, entrepreneur, Certified Rolfer®, branding consultant, lifelong unschooler, and full-time roadschooling mom. That unusual combination of experiences shapes both the events I create and the topics I speak about.

I speak to homeschooling and unschooling communities, entrepreneurs, parents, educators, conferences, retreats, podcasts, and organizations interested in questioning conventional assumptions about learning, work, business, and life.

Whether I’m coordinating an event or speaking at one, I care about creating experiences that feel intentional, human, and genuinely worth showing up for.

For event planning and coordination, I don’t have specific technical requirements. I’m comfortable working with a wide variety of venues, vendors, and event setups and can adapt to what is already in place.

For speaking engagements and workshops:

Microphone and sound system appropriate for the space

Projector and screen if slides are being used

Tables and chairs for interactive workshops when appropriate

Whiteboard or flip chart can be helpful for workshops, but isn’t required

I’m comfortable presenting indoors or outdoors and can adapt to both formal and informal settings. I can also present without slides or AV when needed.

Specific needs can be discussed based on the event, venue, and scope of the booking.
