#1 Empowering Hands, LLC
Overview
Hey! I'm Regina — I run the bar and serve at events all over Jacksonville and surrounding areas through my company, #1 Empowering Hands. I've got 30+ years in hospitality under my belt (18 of them running the floor at a fine dining restaurant and venue), so pouring drinks and keeping guests happy is basically second nature at this point. I'm certified to serve alcohol and food-safety manager certified too, so everything's above board. I've worked everything from small backyard parties to receptions with 200+ guests — no job's too small or too big. If you need someone behind the bar or on the floor who'll make your event run smooth and keep your guests smiling, that's me!

July 27, 2026Five-Star Bartending Experience!
We had the pleasure of having Regina bartend our ribbon-cutting event at our luxury apartment community, and she was absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, she was professional, personable, and kept the bar running smoothly throughout the entire event.
Our guests consistently commented on the quality of the drinks and the exceptional service. She brought such a positive energy, was attentive to everyone’s needs, and truly helped make our event a success.
If you’re looking for a reliable bartender who provides outstanding service and creates a great experience for your guests, I highly recommend Regina. Thank you for helping make our ribbon-cutting celebration so memorable!

What to expect
When you book #1 Empowering Hands, LLC, you're bringing in more than a bartender or event server — you're bringing in over 30 years of hands-on hospitality experience, backed by real certifications and a track record of running high-pressure service operations at the highest level.
My Background
I spent 18 years as General Manager of a fine dining restaurant and event venue, overseeing everything from the guest experience to staff, floor operations, and the numbers behind the scenes. Before that, I worked my way up over 25 years at McDonald's, from a cash register to District Manager — proof that I understand service from the ground up, not just the top down. I also spent time as a General Managing Partner at Mason's Famous Lobster Rolls and have worked events through East Coast Catering and Events. That experience now runs through my own company.
Certifications & Professionalism
I hold a current Alcohol Server Certificate (2026–2029) and a ServSafe Food Manager certification, so you can count on responsible, compliant, and safe service at every event — whether it's a backyard celebration or a reception for up to 220 guests.
What Working With Me Looks Like
• Clear, fast communication from your first inquiry through the day of your event
• A straightforward quote based on your guest count, event type, and service needs — no surprise fees
• Punctual, professional arrival, dressed and set up ahead of your event start time
• Polished, attentive service throughout — I treat every event with the same care and standards I built over 18 years managing a fine dining venue
• Full setup and cleanup, so you can focus on your guests instead of logistics
Beyond Bartending & Serving
Empowering Hands is a full hospitality company — in addition to event bartending and serving, I also offer house cleaning, pet care, and private chef services for dinners for two. If you ever need help beyond your event, I'm a one-stop resource.
At the end of the day, my goal is simple: I want your event to run smoothly, look great, and feel effortless — because that's exactly what 30 years in hospitality trained me to deliver.
About
Im Regina , aowner and operator of #1 Empowering Hands, LLC in Jacksonville, Florida. My path here wasn't a straight line — three years ago I was homeless, and today I run my own company, built from the ground up entirely by myself. That journey shapes how I show up for every client: with grit, reliability, and a refusal to cut corners.
My hospitality career spans over 30 years. I started on a cash register at McDonald's and worked my way up to District Manager over 25 years — learning the business from every angle along the way. From there, I spent 18 years as General Manager of a fine dining restaurant and event venue, running the floor, the staff, the numbers, and the guest experience. I've also managed operations at Mason's Famous Lobster Rolls and worked events through East Coast Catering and Events, so I've seen hospitality from nearly every seat in the house.
Today, that experience is channeled into Empowering Hands — where I offer event bartending and serving, house cleaning, pet care, and private chef services for dinners for two. I hold a current Alcohol Server Certificate and a ServSafe Food Manager certification, and I treat every event, whether it's an intimate gathering or a reception for 220 guests, with the same professionalism and attention to detail I built over decades in fine dining.
When you book me, you're not just hiring a server or bartender for the night — you're hiring someone who has run entire operations and knows what it takes to make an event feel effortless. I built every part of this business myself: the pricing, the branding, the service standards. I'd love the chance to bring that same care to your next event.

Influences and inspiration
I started out working for East Coast Catering and Events with the owner of the company, Johnathan. I started out serving and then he threw me into to a bartending position when someone didn’t show and I fell in love with it. He inspired me to go out on my own and said that I was one of the best bartenders he’s met . So i listened and now here I am
