February 24, 2019Wil, from Mohawk, arrived to find our iPad mixing software could not connect to our mixer due to WiFi interference. I would normally have gone into panic mode, but Wil patiently and calmly found workarounds until the mixer finally connected. From there, it was smooth sailing and excellent sound quality the rest of the gig! I could not have found a better company for the job! We will use Mohawk from now on.

Live Sound:
-First, we'll discuss your event details and make a plan for what equipment we're going to need, if any.
-Then, we'll show up, set up and run an efficient and effective sound check, getting the best sound quality possible.
-During the event we will be hands-on with monitoring and troubleshooting so that issues don't become problems.
-Afterward we will power down, pack up and leave you with a smile on your face because your event went so well and sounded so spectacular.
Studio Mixing & Mastering:
-First, we'll discuss your song or project and build you a custom quote. We can advise you on songwriting, arrangement or production tweaks & changes if you'd like.
-Then, we'll take your recordings* (from a recording studio session or a quality self-recorded file) and mix and master them to sound professional and radio/iTunes/Spotify ready.
-During the mixing process we will give you a chance to make revision requests (if the guitar is too loud in the verse, or the kazoo just isn't coming through how you want it in the chorus).
-When it's all wrapped up we'll provide you a finished product in .mp3 format (other formats available upon request).
*special accommodations may be made in some cases for us to facilitate a recording session, but we're more of a mixing/mastering service than a recording studio.
Mohawk Audio is owned & operated by Wil Vandiver outside of Austin, Tx. Wil has been a musician his entire life and behind a sound board for over 15 years. Having filled nearly every position on stage as a musician and singer, plus his extensive experience in both recording and live sound engineering, he is a well-rounded and knowledgeable professional.
You provide the electricity, we'll provide the sound. Whether you've got a sound system already in place and just need someone to run it, or you need the full meal deal - as long as there's a band and a stage (or a keynote speaker) we'll make it sound great.
