Modern Rewind is here to take you on a trip through Rock n Roll history. With stops at hits from the Oldies, Classic Rock, Disco, 80's, 90's and today! Elvis, Sinatra, Buddy Holly, Beatles, Stones, through The Police, Cars, Weezer, Green Day, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Black Keys, and the Foo Fighters! Full of surprises...Experience some good tunes with a fun cover band in NJ. Performances can vary from acoustic intimate settings to larger venues depending on venue and song requirements. Get ready to dance and party with us!

Party Band
We had Modern Rewind at our Wedding at Waterloo Village on August 28th and they were amazing! They offered acoustic music during our cocktail hour and then rocked the night away during our reception. My husband and I had venue staff coming up to us all night saying how much they liked the band! One staff member said " I have seen a lot of live bands here and they are either a hit or a miss, these guys are definitely a hit!"
Even before the wedding my husband and I were in constant communication with the band about the finer little details of the night and requesting certain songs. After the wedding we agreed that we would keep an eye out for when they are performing in our area so we can go see them again.
Thanks again to Modern Rewind for giving us the party that we wanted! Almost a month later (sorry I am a huge procrastinator!) I still hear guests say how great the band was and how much fun they had dancing (especially with the 80 year old grandmas that tore up the dance floor all night)!
If you want a great band that will keep the party going and keep your guests dancing all night, I highly recommend Modern Rewind!!
Acoustic Band, Wedding Band
Tom and all the Modern Rewind band brought our Son's Bar Mitzva party to a different level! We reserved the band through the Gig salad website and based our selection on reviews and videos. We had the best experience that exceeded what we expected. They were all very professional and personal, came before time, organized, and were ready to Rock even before us. Our guests, our family, and our son had an unforgettable night. Thank you all!
Party Band
Modern Rewind performs hits from the past and present, with professional vocals and wonderful band accompaniments. The band is fun and engages with guests while playing a little something for everyone. A great choice for wineries/breweries or special events such as birthday parties, graduations, etc.

I'd give them more stars if it was an option. Great band, great folks, super generous to our foundation. They shared their talents with our guests and really set the tone for the amazing evening.
You cant miss with them. They set up quietly, get right to work, clean up without anyone noticing, and they can read a room. Perfect range of music for any moment during an evening or any occasion.

The band was hired for a birthday party. They were set up quickly and ready to perform. We loved the song list. They played everything from old to new. They even took special requests which thrilled our guests. They had lights which were perfect for the people dancing. Everyone at the party raved about this band. Thanks for making this such a special event!!! We will definitely hire you guys for our next big party :)

What to Expect
When performing in a party type atmosphere, we like to entertain the audience with our music selection. We integrate crowd participation, sing along's as well as contests and medleys. We also do our "Classy" Rock music that is more in line with cocktail parties, restaurants, or wineries. From acoustic arrangements, dinner music, or a full blown party band, we can deliver. Our musicians are friendly, courteous, and adaptable with years of entertainment experience. Add in our professional sound and lighting gear and it is a formula for fun event.
About
Tom and Dan have been performing in bands for many years in the NY, NJ, PA area. Being good friends and sharing a love of music has made them gel together as a singular unit. Now with Vin and Denise in the mix, the band went up to the next level! Both have years of experience performing in multiple bands in great venues around the area. We enjoy playing out and would love to work with you on your next event!
Additional Booking Notes
We supply a back line of amplifiers, speakers, and lighting. Solid ground near an electrical source is highly recommended. If we do perform on a lawn or similar surface, we may ask for some sort of stability for a drum set. (if applicable)

We will supply the PA and instruments. We need access to a clean power supply. A Generator will work for outdoor events.
