The purpose of my performance is to ADD to your guests' overall experience of the event. If you want my show to be the FOCAL POINT, I will work with you to make sure we accomplish that goal. If you want my act to be one of many amazing details to your event without pulling attention, that is a possibility as well.

My typical performance consists of a 60-minute high-energy stand up comedy magic show. Imagine a stand up comedian performing magic. This show includes a TON of audience interaction and comedy. This show has been seen all over the country and in military bases all over the world.

Sometimes a full show doesn't fit with the overall flow of an event. For cases like this, I can perform walk-around close-up magic. This is a way to have mind-blowing professional entertainment at your event without disrupting the flow of the event. This is GREAT for cocktail parties.

Michael Kent is a Professional Comedian and Magician from Columbus, OH. Performing for colleges and corporate clients across America, Michael offers an impressive ability to connect with every audience he encounters. High-profile corporations such as Disney, AT&T, Honda of America, Ernst & Young, The U.S. Navy and Time Warner Cable have called on Michael to perform for their guests when they want a high-impact and high-class performance. In addition to his busy schedule spending 200 days a year traveling across America performing his show, he is also regularly asked to travel to other countries to entertain American troops serving overseas.

Michael's specialty is performing a comedy magic show that is EDGY BUT CLEAN. No one wants a kids' magician at a corporate event. But no one wants anonymous letters written to the H.R. department either! Michael has performed in Comedy Clubs, Colleges, Cruise Ships and for corporations with high-expectations like Disney and AT&T. Not every audience is the same. Michael Kent is an expert at finding the sweet spot between "too stale" and "too offensive." His job is to make YOU - the event planner - the hero.

Michael has recently been seen headlining the Columbus Comedy Festival, as a Special Guest in Shadowbox Live's production of "Smoke & Mirrors" and via appearances on FOX28/ABC6 "Good Day Live." He was named 2014 Entertainer of the Year by Campus Activities Magazine and was name 2014 Magician of the Year by The Association for the Promotion of Campus Activities.

Michael has been entertaining large crowds since he was a young boy. He learned magic as a child by studying the highly-guarded books on the art. Mixed with an incomparable style of humor, he has found a formula for maximum entertainment.

Michael is a contributing author of the book, "How to Achieve Unlimited Success: Strategies for Creating Extraordinary Results," where he writes about his experiences using magic and a positive attitude to pursue his dreams.

Many of Michael's clients have referred to his professionalism when asked why they hire him year after year. His philosophy on entertainment is to put your guests at ease by entertaining them in a way that is friendly, conversational, and absolutely spellbinding.

Michael will supply you with a technical rider that will go over everything you and your venue need to put on the best show possible. Michael has performed everywhere from 2,500 seat theaters to tiny recreation rooms in the middle of Asia. To date, he hasn't encountered a room that can't accommodate his performance.

The rider will cover everything that you will need including sound, staging and lighting requirements.
