About
Hailing from the heartland of Oklahoma, Christopher Beauchamp is a musical chameleon whose sonic palette knows no bounds. Born and raised amidst the rolling plains and wide-open skies, he found inspiration in the diverse landscapes that mirror the eclectic range of his music.
From an early age, Chris was drawn to the rich musical offerings of bands like the Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, The Who, and The Moody Blues. He wore those records out on his Mickey Mouse turntable singing along to every song. Getting his first guitar at the age of 15, he began crafting songs that seamlessly blended the rootsy warmth of the classics with the avant-garde spirit of the free-thinking artist.
Driven by an insatiable desire to explore musical frontiers, Chris defies easy categorization. His songwriting is a kaleidoscope of influences – from classic rock, blues, jazz, funk, folk, country, reggae, and punk rock. Each composition is a sonic journey, a testament to his refusal to be confined by genre conventions.
In the intimate venues of Oklahoma's thriving music scene, Chris carved out a niche as a captivating live performer. His shows are a mix of soul-baring ballads and foot-stomping anthems, with an unpredictable twist that keeps audiences on the edge of their seats. He seamlessly transitions from acoustic laid back jams to electrifying rock & roll solos, weaving a musical tapestry that reflects the diverse influences of his upbringing.
