March 10, 2026Miranda did a fantastic job leading Worship for our first in-house women’s conference this past weekend in North Carolina. she was a joy to work with and super flexible, she jumped right in to the mix with our musicians and production team, collaborating effortlessly and sensitively to the needs and dynamics of the existing volunteers. During rehearsal, and during the event, she continuously communicated with our music director and musician/production team to be obedient to how the Lord was leading her in what to say and how to move through the set list… while, also not making crazy requests or major pivots in the plan. We were able to stay on track while moving thoughtfully through the worship sessions without rushinG. Miranda offered timely, biblical direction and encouragement to the larger group in addition to singing beautifully. She did a great job leading the room in worship through music and was fantastic to host!

She is an incredible vocalist, but also has a great mind for worship service flow, and for creating experiences that will be meaningful for the people she is leading. Miranda Newcomer is a singer/songwriter, whose love for singing and music came at a young age. She grew up doing musicals with her local theatre and was always involved with her school’s chorus. Not only did she have a love for music, but growing up in a Christian household, she was in love with using her gifts and talents to glorify God. Whether it was in Georgia where she was born and raised, or in Northern Virginia where she currently lives, she was always plugged in to her church and serving God in some capacity.
In High School, she felt called to pursue worship leading at her church, and she could have never imagined the doors that the Lord would open for her. She was later hired by her church as a worship leader and grew both musically and spiritually. She has a heart to lead worship for an audience of One, in hopes of leading others to the only One who is worthy of our worship; and that is Jesus Christ!
She loves experiencing how the Lord works through people’s sacrificial awe and wonder of Him; and that is what truly inspires the songs she writes. She wants to help people fully worship God out of a heart of gratitude and passion. While writing out of personal experiences, her songs will also challenge you to adapt the song to your own story and to experience God in a new way!
