My Testimony

I was not raised in poverty or a broken home. I lived with both of my biological parents who loved me and my siblings very much. From the time I was a baby I attended Pilgrim Rest F.W.B.C. It was there that I learned how to play the drums and the organ, and where I first played the keyboard for the youth choir. I lived my life knowing the truth and the Gospel, but I refused to submit to it. At the age of 13, I was introduced to marijuana, alcohol and young girls. I developed a hunger for the things I’d heard on records, and seen in music videos. I took the gifts that God had given me, that were meant to glorify him, and began to glorify myself and the lust of my flesh.
I use to freestyle in high school a little bit, nothing serious, just messing around in the hallways before class, but I understood song structure and rhyming, it just came easy to me.
My first song was a dis track, and even though I didn’t think it was that great, there were some people on campus who actually liked it. So, I began rapping about money, drugs, sex and women, and in order for me to be authentic, I had to actually live the life I represented in my music. In doing so, I chose not to follow Christ, and I followed my own sinful desires.
Before the age of 16 I sold marijuana, pills and began carrying a gun.
Truth be told, I should be in jail for the things I’ve done. Out of all the guys I did my dirt with, I wanna say i’m probably the only one who hasn’t seen the inside of a jail cell.
Not because I was so slick or so smart or even lucky, but I truly believe that someone was praying for me, and God showed mercy on me even while I was in my sin.

In 2005 I visited a revival in Altamonte Springs, FL, St Peter F.W.B.C. where Bishop E.T. Brown was the Pastor. After the sermon, the preacher extended an invitation to come to Christ and my heart was so heavy. It felt like 500 lbs was resting on my shoulders. I wanted to get up but I just couldn’t. After a few minutes of listening to what the minister was saying, I felt so compelled and I couldn’t resist anymore. I went down to the alter and rededicated my life to Christ. Since that night, I’ve been fighting the good fight.

In 2010 I accepted the call into the ministry and began preaching the gospel. For 5 years I used the gift of preaching and teaching to create Christian Rap music traveling to various churches and youth conferences. Since then, I've focused more on studying and perfecting my gift for the Glory of God. I have my flaws and I’m still making mistakes, but I realize my need for a savior and I recognize Jesus Christ as that savior. God has blessed me with a beautiful wife who has seen my transformation first hand from day one. We’ve been together since 2002. We have two beautiful children and we serve at the Sanctuary of Hope Worship Ministries in Bealsville,FL under the leadership of Apostle Terriss K. Stevenson.

My mission is to teach and preach Jesus Christ's life, death, burial and resurrection. I believe it's God's will for me to also pray for the weak, heal the sick and set the captives free through the word and love of God.
