Compañía Chuscales & Mina Fajardo is a passionate husband-and-wife flamenco duo bringing the soul of Spain to stages across the United States. Based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, their performances are powerful, intimate, and deeply rooted in authentic flamenco tradition.

Chuscales, born in Antequera, Spain, grew up in a traditional gypsy flamenco family with deep connections to the caves of Sacromonte in Granada—one of the true birthplaces of flamenco. He began performing as a child and has now appeared in over 10,000 shows around the world. As a guitarist and music director, his playing is expressive, rhythmic, and full of life. He has worked with some of the most respected flamenco companies and festivals, and his music reflects generations of tradition passed down through family and community.

Mina Fajardo, artistic director of the company, is a dynamic flamenco dancer, singer, percussionist (cajon player and choreographer known for her emotional depth and powerful stage presence. She leads performances with elegance and fire, combining traditional flamenco with her own artistic voice. Mina is also a dedicated teacher, sharing flamenco with students of all ages and helping keep the art form alive in Northern New Mexico.

Together, they founded Compañía Chuscales & Mina Fajardo, creating authentic flamenco experiences that bring audiences up close to the music, rhythm, and emotion of this art form. Their shows often include guitar, singing, dance, and cajón (percussion), creating a full flamenco experience that feels both traditional and alive in the moment.

They perform regularly in Santa Fe and Albuquerque, including their popular Flamenco Paraguas series—featuring summer, winter, and spring tablao-style shows that have become a favorite in the community. Their performances have also been featured at festivals, theaters, universities, and private events across the U.S., including Hawaii.
