I am 28 years old and have been playing over a 15 years. I have an extensive background in music education and am able to play many genres fluently. I learn quickly, have a great attitude, extensive US/Canada touring experience, and don't have any drug/alcohol issues. Recording Studio and Rehearsal Space at hand if needed.
Mike Turco has actively pursued music from the time he got his first snare drum in the fifth grade. Participating in drumlines, marching bands, and jazz bands throughout high school taught him how to read and write music, along with syncing with click track. After graduating from high school, he studied music theory for two years at a local college while gigging with big jazz bands, Latin bands, jazz trios, and many local bands of different genres. His great experience with such a wide variety of bands has made him familiar with many genres of music. Mike has toured with metal , funk/rock/reggae/hiphop and alternative rock bands. He can adapt to any playing situation and is comfortable across many genres. Mike Turco is known by many musicians for his ability to learn songs quickly, solid timing, passionate performances, and creative improvisation.
