Overview
I play lively original folk songs as well as popular songs from the 70's, 80's, 90's up to today with a folkish twist. I have enough material to cover about a 3 hour set. Prior to moving to Florida, I played in coffee shops, restaurants, etc., in the Portland Oregon area. I'd love to chat with you about what you'd like to see happen at your next event.

What to expect
If you're looking for music for your next gathering, I'm happy to accommodate whatever you need. I'm comfortable doing a 2-3 hour set blended with a mix of pop, rock, and folk tunes that will keep an audience smiling. I can engage with an audience or simply be background music. Whatever you need from me, I'm happy to accommodate.
About
Music has been a big part of my life since I was 14. It carried me through tough times and brings joy to my heart! Music really has the ability to transport a person to another place in time. There's nothing better to me than when I see an audience smile because of familiar song. If you need a singer/songwriter, folkish-type of musician for your reception, gathering or corporate event, let me know! I'm happy to accommodate :)
Additional booking notes
I have a small PA system that is appropriate for most of the gigs that I do and I'm more than happy to bring it along if you do not have an in-house PA system.

Influences and inspiration
I'm a big fan of Indie-Folk artists like, William Fitzsimmons, Damien Rice, and Ray LaMontagne. I also really like to take popular tunes from the 70's - today and give them a folkish twist. To me, there's nothing better than seeing a crowd light up when they recognize a tune and enjoy a different approach to it. I often hear, "hey, I love the version of that song you did!"
