Mike - Mike has been singing since his early teens. Professionally trained by Al Kohen who was the vocal trainer for all show singers at Disney's MGM Studio's in Orlando. Al also has an impressive list of nationally recognized acts that had been and still are under his tutelage. Back in Rhode Island for the last decade, Mike has been the lead vocalist for such acts as "Arrival", "Tijuana Bibles" and "Raised on Radio" Mike was nominated by the Providence Phoenix as a member of the best cover band of 2011.
Mark - Getting his start in the power-pop band SR-71, Mark Beauchemin made a name for himself with his melodic ear and intense stage presence. Their debut album Now You See Inside (RCA) produced by Gil Norton (Pixies, Foo Fighters) went gold on the legs of the first single 'Right Now.' After two years of touring capped off by opening a summer tour for Bon Jovi, and a second release, the band dismantled. Taking some time off and concentrating on writing and recording Mark got the call to audition for Vanessa Carlton. It was immediately obvious that he was the perfect choice for the Grammy nominated singer/songwriter/pianist. After appearing on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Regis and Kelly, he toured with her as she supported her latest CD Heroes And Thieves (Universal). The two also recorded 'More Than This' acoustic with producer Rupert Hines (Rush, Stevie Nicks) for The Art of Peace Foundation: Songs For Tibet- The Art of Peace. The Art of Peace Foundation announced today that over a dozen of the world's top musical artists, including Sting, Dave Matthews, John Mayer, Suzanne Vega, Rush and Duncan Sheik are coming together for an album entitled, "Songs for Tibet - The Art of Peace." Mark now performs nearly every night of the week in Rhode Island and southern New England and is a member of Raised on Radio.
