We heard Mike sing at Dove Mtn Brewery, and he was really liked by the crowd playing lots of different types music. He played requests and I requested an Eagles song which he did great.

What to expect

I cover artists from the 1960s to today with emphasis on acoustic classic rock, singer-songwriters, and country. I am comfortable performing as either background music for a restaurant or special event or in a concert situation. My catalog is extensive and I do accept audience requests.

About

I’ve been playing guitar since about age 12, initially borrowing my older brother’s nylon string acoustic and learning a few chords from songbooks laying around. My earliest influences were the albums in my older siblings’ record collections: The Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, CCR, The Guess Who, Jim Croce, Harry Chapin and Elton John. Over the
years, my song catalog has continued to grow and now includes a wide range of artists and genres from classic rock to singer-songwriters, pop,
country, folk and more from the 1960s to today.

I had many opportunities to play publicly while in college and absolutely loved it! But I put most of it aside while I pursued a work career and my wife Sandy and I raised our two kids. I continued to play periodically over the years for friends, at work events, and church services.

I started performing publicly again after “retiring” in 2021, both as a solo artist and as part of a small band in Michigan. The bars and restaurants
in southeast Michigan were fertile ground to pursue my music passion. I moved to the beautiful southern Arizona area in late 2022. I’ve recently
joined with a couple of friends to form a small dance band called “AZ You Wish” that will be debuting in the fall 2024. You can find more
information on AZ You Wish on Facebook. I’m so very grateful for the opportunity to continue performing for audiences that love and
appreciate live acoustic music. Hope to see you at one of my music
event soon!
