About
Brett Dooley | Premium Acoustic Performance & Event Partnership
Turn-key entertainment for corporate events and luxury resorts in Phoenix and Tucson. A U.S. Navy veteran and Business Development Manager, Brett provides a sophisticated musical experience backed by B2B reliability, $2M liability insurance, and professional dual-column EV audio production.
The Professional Standard
In high-stakes hospitality, the difference between a "performer" and a "partner" is discipline. Brett offers a seamless musical backdrop—from "textural" cocktail hour Americana to high-energy corporate social sets—tailored to the emotional arc of your event.
A History of Discipline Originally from Missouri, Brett’s musical foundation was forged during ten years in the U.S. Navy’s submarine force. Practicing in the laundry rooms of nuclear submarines while deployed, he developed the focus and reliability that define his performance today. Combined with his current career in business development, Brett speaks the language of event planners who know that "on-time" is late.
Enterprise-Grade Production & Logistics Brett utilizes a minimalist "Silent Stage" footprint to protect the visual integrity of your venue.
Technical Utility: Includes a high-definition wireless microphone for keynote speakers and curated playlisting for all transitions.
Risk Mitigation: $2,000,000 General Liability policy with rapid COI issuance for five-star resorts.
The Musical Experience A curated journey through Americana, contemporary rock, and 90s/00s nostalgia. While his debut album, The Long Road (2023), highlights his original artistry, he is equally adept at delivering high-recognition covers that keep multi-generational audiences engaged.
Additional booking notes
Brett utilizes a minimalist 'Silent Stage' setup with a small physical footprint (approx. 6'x6'), ensuring zero visual clutter in luxury venues. He provides all necessary audio equipment, including a wireless handheld microphone for client announcements/keynotes. For outdoor Arizona events, adequate shade/overhead cover is required to protect instruments and electronic components.

Influences and inspiration
Musical Direction & Artistry
My performance style is an intentional blend of several foundational genres, allowing me to pivot between "ambient background" and "high-energy interactive" as the event requires.
The Americana & Red Dirt Foundation: Drawing from the storytelling of John Prine, Guy Clark, and Robert Earl Keen, and the modern grit of Tyler Childers, Sturgill Simpson, and Colter Wall, I bring an authentic, soulful depth to every set. This is ideal for outdoor Arizona activations, ranch-style events, and upscale western-themed galas.
Classic Country & Outlaw Heritage: The legends define the standard. Influences like Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, and Charley Pride ensure that my country sets resonate with multi-generational audiences, providing a timeless "Nashville" feel.
Acoustic Rock & 90s/00s Nostalgia: For younger corporate demographics or high-energy socials, I lean into the acoustic arrangements of Green Day, Social Distortion, and Blink-182. My vocal style is influenced by the melodic energy of The Revivalists, Ryan Bingham, and Marcus Mumford, bridging the gap between rock energy and acoustic intimacy.
Modern Standards: I stay current with the evolving "Americana-Pop" landscape, integrating the sensibilities of Chris Stapleton, Zach Bryan, and Whiskey Myers. This ensures that even the most contemporary audiences find a connection point in the performance.
Technical Bluegrass & Roots: The technical precision of The Steeldrivers, Billy Strings, and Chris Thile informs my guitar work, ensuring that even as a soloist, the "rhythm and drive" of a full band is felt by the audience.
Setup requirements
Dedicated 120V/15A circuit. Flat, level performance area (min 6'x6'). Adequate shade for outdoor daytime performances.
