January 15, 2016I've known Mike for a couple of years now but feels like decades. He is a true blue honest funny and sincere man but besides that he is extremely talented. I have confidence in every audition I send him on that not only is he likely to book but most certainly comes prepared, has the highest of professionalism and really makes my casting company look strong. I highly recommend him for any of your on camera or stage needs!

January 14, 2016I've known Mike Betancourt for a few years now. I've worked with him on film projects, seen his stand up four times and spent time with him and his family. Whrn you meet Mike you immediately feel how intense he is. His standup can get crazy and it changes with the audience. Mike is thoughtful and observant and it gives his comedy a deeper level so that you can laugh and think. He's a genuine gentleman, a funny guy and has the best work ethic I've ever seen. If you get the chance to see him perform stand up or work with him on a project you will be glad you did.

January 14, 2016I had the privilege of seeing Mike Betancourt's act at Laughs Unlimited in Old Sacramento. After a couple warm up comics performed, Mike came out. Immediately I was taken in by his presence. It felt like a headlining act had come into the stage. He had a suit jacket and a tie on, which gave him a professional appearance. Although he took the jacket off after a bit because of the physical comedy nature of his show. When he got to his "She Rex" bit he was in full physical comedy mode. Once you start laughing at his act, you simply cannot stop. It is fast paced enough to keep your full attention but not so much that you miss the jokes. A very funny show that I will see again someday.
A truly remarkable comic that delivers his material very well.
