Nominated for a 2015 and 2019 Detroit Music Award for best Classical Composition and Performance and Best Classical Composer! Michele has fifteen years performance experience playing weddings, corporate events, charity events and private parties. She specializes in Celtic music as well as classical. She is a collaborator with other musicians both in the US as well as the UK and her albums, "Languid Sunday" and "Reinvention" are on iTunes. What to expect
Harp is both elegant and beautiful. It's music gives a feeling of class, regality and peace in traditional settings like churches, weddings and funerals. The harp can also play contemporary music, which I often do in restaurants and corporate events. Private dinner parties and romantic settings are perfect places that I love to play. The harp is soft enough to not be intrusive but bold enough to set the tone for an unforgettable evening.
I am organized and make the entire hiring, planning and payment part of your journey streamlined and simple. I work with each client to see their musical vision to fruition.
About
Classically trained as a pianist, I then studied harp just after university. I have been performing throughout Michigan, Chicago and Canada for the past twenty years. I have been fortunate enough to perform with many, local talented musicians as well as musicians from the UK. In the past five years, I have released two albums, first a Celtic, the second Classical. Both are available on iTunes. I teach harp in my studio, Michigan Conservatory. When I'm not working as a soloist, I also perform with Pebble Creek Orchestra where I'm also a board member.
I compose music for podcasts and for weddings.
