Michael Reid is a 24 year old singer/songwriter from Bronx, NY. Reid found his musical roots at a young age singing gospel music in the church. Over the years, Reid's love for music expanded to other genres such as R&B, Soul, Funk, and Jazz. As his gift evolved, Reid has been afforded opportunities to work with mainstream artists such as SZA, Usher, and Bebe Rexha and gospel artists such as Leandria Johnson and Jonathan Nelson. Reid has also sung on platforms such as Saturday Night Live, The Grammy Awards, and AfroPunk. Just recently, Michael Reid was a semifinalist in the Amateur Night at the Apollo competition. Currently, Michael Reid produces and performs live shows all throughout New York. His next show will be at the Ashford & Simpson's Sugar Bar on December 23rd, 2022. In addition, Reid is working on his first EP which is to be released in 2023.
