Michael Jackson Impersonator - Robert Taylor Jr
Overview
This is a tribute act of Michael Jackson in his eras of the 1980's - mid 1990's. Not only do I do the dances, but I sing the songs as well (live). I can do it either as a solo act or I can have an entire production of dancers or a live band. We bring you one of the most authentic feels of Michael Jackson and will give you a concert version of the tribute act to experience for a lifetime full of memories keeping the essence of who Michael Jackson is.

February 28, 2026Remember The Time
Robert was hired as a surprise guest for our Mom's 90th birthday affair on Valentine's Day. She is an avid fan of Michael Jackson and words can't express how pleased we were with his "5 Star" MJ performance. Everyone was wowed! Robert not only does all the moves, but he sings and interacts and was a pleasure to work with. He was very accommodating with our song selections and fifteen-minute time slot, and we will forever "remember the time!"

Born in Brooklyn and raised in Coney Island, he developed a love for music and dance through watching his father Robert "Bobby T-Boy" Taylor and went under his tutelage for his music/artistry. He also worked with Elizabeth Buzzetta Palmeri from public school P.S. 90, and Pat Conlon for musical training, Larry Ramsey for acting, Patrick Addams for music production (under his father Bobby T-Boy Taylor) and John Goring and Eddie Morales for dance from John Dewey High School. He received a B.A. in Dance with a minor in Musical Theatre from Marymount Manhattan College.

Robert's first professional gig was dancing for the WNBA with the NY Liberty Torch Patrol and was also "Maddie" The Mascot. Shortly after, Robert performed for Michael Jackson for the Sony Protest party at Webster Hall. He was in the top 16 contestants of So You Think You Can Dance Season 8. Robert made his Broadway debut in SpongeBob SquarePants. Later, he appeared as a wrestler in battle royals and tag team matches as "Music Man," training with WWE Hall of Famer Johnny Rodz. During the pandemic he became an ambassador for the "Master Class" series and became student of the month in 2020 as a music producer/engineer under the tutilage of Grammy Award winning producer "Timbaland."
