Overview
Since 2014, Aaron of Micah and Me has been teaching ukulele classes to young and old; and entertaining and inspiring kiddos and their caregivers with catchy toe-tapping songs and energetic live shows at festivals, museums, schools, street fairs, and coffee shops l across the Pacific Northwest. Micah and Me combine clever originals and upbeat covers with updated takes on classic kids’ standards to create an irresistible dance party that will have kids partying hard (and napping hard when they get home)!

Up to an hour of exciting, energetic songs sure to get kids and those young-at-heart playing ukulele and dancing (at the dance parties)!
About
Aaron Canwell teaches ukulele as The Ukulele Man and performs dance parties under the name Micah and Me. Micah and Me is a super awesome family dance party based out of Walla Walla, Washington! They have been voted one of the top 5 children's entertainers PDX Parent for 4 years in a row ((phone number hidden)0).
Since 2014, Aaron has had the pleasure of teaching ukulele and playing HUNDREDS of live shows for children all over Oregon and Washington.
The ukulele party includes 30 ukuleles (participants are welcome to bring their own) and typically lasts one hour. This high energy ukulele party includes rock n roll endings after every song (participants can get as involved as they like or just watch Aaron jump). Aaron starts the class with a simple one chord song and slowly builds to more advanced children’s music, pop, folk and rock songs as the group progresses.
The dance party is 45-60 minutes depending on the kids’ attention span. Kids and parents engage in guided and free form dancing throughout our show. At the end of the show Aaron offers an instrument petting zoo! He loves performing for children and families!

Setup requirements
If teaching or performing outside, I need cover from rain and Sun; a nice clean hard surface to put sound equipment on; access to power; and three 10ft tables (for the ukulele party). If you are just having the dance party disregard the 10ft tables
