We have an annual company-wide event that's focused on learning, aligning around our mission, forging connections and investing into our people. I Mia as the presenter for our women's mental health and wellness workshop. During our first consulting call, we discussed the group she'd be speaking to and what we wanted people to get out of it. In the end, Mia was so flexible, experienced, and knowledgeable that I trusted her to make the decisions and I was freed to focus on other aspects of our conference.

It's important to note that I work at a biotech company so the attendees were lab scientists, data scientists, automation/machine learning/software engineers, admin, recruiters, etc., just to name a few. Not to mention, our group is international. So having a non-pharma/non-biotech industry speaker who is also not based in academics, close the loop and bring science-backed truths regarding our health and wellness was BEYOND what my group needed. Mia is sophisticated, relatable, eloquent and wise. She is creative and set apart from every other speaker that we've had and normally default to.

I had several workshop attendees find me before the day was up to rave about their experience in Mia's workshop. I heard about how much they enjoyed themselves, how Mia accessed bits of themselves that they've forgotten and encouraged them to bring life to those areas, how they desired an opportunity to listen to her again to glean more wisdom, how the workshop wasn't anything they expected yet it exceeded what they hoped to get out of it, how they felt encouraged and empowered to address their own wellness in new ways, and more. Our women left feeling refreshed and invigorated. I also attended the workshop so was able to share in their enthusiasm, excitement and thankfulness. Mia is full of life and simply radiates it onto those around her.
