Mhairi MacCallum - Fiddler/Violinist

Hey there! My name is Mhairi, I'm 27 years old and I have been playing the violin since I was 7 years old. I began by learning classical violin and competed in several classical violin competitions growing up. I still enjoy playing classical violin today, however in high school I joined the North Shore Celtic Ensemble (NSCE) and fell in love with fiddling. I played with the NSCE for several years, gained tons of experience performing, and traveled all over Canada, the US, and Scotland. A few years ago, I also started getting into old-time/bluegrass fiddling and I now have a solid repertoire of old-time/blue grass fiddle tunes if that's what you're looking for!
