2, 3, or 4 talented dancers perform distinct choreographies from various states/regions in Mexico, each with unique costumes and music.
The performance is suitable for all ages and audiences as large as 1200 individuals. Recorded music is used.
ARTS-IN-EDUCATION SERVICE
Via live performance and direct audience participation, Luhna Choreography & Dancers enriches educational experiences for students and educators alike by sharing Mexican folkloric dances with their unique costuming and rhythms. Components common to all programs include audience participation and Q&A sessions.
Lecture-Demonstration and Dance Performance/a.k.a. Assembly Performance
(50 minutes)
Four talented dancers perform distinct choreographies from various states/regions in Mexico, each with unique costumes and music, and a narrator explains historical and cultural backgrounds and leads fun and interactive workshops with audiences.
The assembly is suitable for all ages and audiences as large as 1200 individuals. Recorded music is used.
Preferred performance area size:
2 Dancers - no less than 8'x10' ------- 3 or 4 Dancers - no less than 15'x15'
-Wooden floor preferred to be able to enjoy the sound of the footwork. No carpeting preferred.
-Recorded music will be used. Sound system with iPod/iPhone connection or Bluetooth needed and Microphone
-Dressing room or changing area needed. Near/close to the performance area preferred. No changing on the bathroom due to the delicacy and size of the Mexican outfits.
-Dancers will arrive 30 minutes before the agreed showtime.
