mesmi is an indie singer/songwriter based in the Los Angeles area. Having lived all across the U.S., as well as having lived and traveled around the world from Asian to Africa to Europe, mesmi's music draws from a rich tapestry of sounds and experiences.
She recently released her debut EP and two follow-up singles, with music magazines describing her original work as "melodic and soulful," "a roller-coaster from high-energy peaks to calm ethereal valleys ... one of the musical highlights of the year" and "addictively creative" with "a gorgeous voice."
Starting from classical piano and violin at the age of 5, mesmi has been playing music for decades, and since her solo debut just a few years ago has performed at a number of renowned L.A. venues including the Hollywood House of Blues and the Silverlake Lounge.
She has also performed widely both regionally and out-of-state, most recently at the METRO-sponsored 626 Golden Streets Festival and the Chicago Edgewater Arts Festival.
