June 11, 2026I genuinely wanted to leave a 5-star review because she was kind and flexible. However, unfortunately, I can’t. On our wedding day, Merry was given specific instructions on which songs to play and when. However, she disregarded these instructions. For the parents and for me as the bride. As a bride, the song you choose to walk down the aisle to meet your husband at the altar holds significant importance. I trusted her to play the original song as requested and promised, but she didn’t. Instead, she played a completely different version of a song that no one could recognize, and the volume was incredibly low during the entire processional. I took a chance on Merry on the most significant day of my life, and that moment is irreplaceable. To avoid any surprises, please ensure that your harpist attends rehearsals before your wedding day. I’m really sad about this.

This breaks my heart as a professional harpist who has played over 3000 weddings and never disappointed a bride. DJ's love story is beautiful, and I did everything in my power to make it perfect - including playing over an hour prelude for free when I was hired for 30 minutes because the wedding started late. I played the sheet music to the procession exactly as John Legend wrote it, and I play it regularly and get compliments. I encourage clients to know that an instrumental version without words to certain songs cannot sound the same. As for volume, the harp sounded soft compared to the DJ who played the groom and bridesmaids songs very loudly. I received numerous compliments from guests, including the Pastor, so I hope that, in time, DJ will know what a beautiful wedding and bride she was, and it was an honor to set the atmosphere with the prelude music, and on a gorgeous harp from the Palace of Versailles. I pray that God blesses their marriage and life together
