Emer is a multi-instrumentalist with a passion for all genres of music. A mother of two, she moved to Barrie from Toronto eleven years ago. Her musical journey began with the piano, at the Royal Conservatory of Music, in Toronto at the age of 7 where she completed her grade 8 RCM certificate in piano. Over time she developed a love for jazz and popular music which ultimately led her to the commercial jazz program at Humber College where she completed a Bachelor of Music degree majoring in voice & performance. She graduated from Humber with honors in 2007 and went on to do a degree in music education at York University, graduating in 2011. All through her studies she was performing and recording her original music and learning about the music business first hand. In 2007 she recorded her first EP of original music with Ron Lopata, now VP A&R Warner Music Canada at Warner Music Canada. She has a vast experience performing at festivals, weddings and events in Toronto and the surrounding area with different styles of music.

Rosario was born in Holguin, Cuba. Her Passion is MUSIC, she knows it is the best medicine for the soul and a great way to expand neural connections and abilities in people of all ages. She started piano lessons as a child and studied all through her youth in art schools. In 1991 Rosario began to work with the Rodrigo Prats Lyric Company in her hometown and was an accompanist for singers for thirty-one years as well as being a singer herself. She worked asa music history teacher with the Conservatory of Music and as a consultant with the University of Arts in Holguin, Cuba. She was involved in countless stagings of Operas / Zarzuelas for the local theatre including works by Mozart, Donizetti, Handel, and others from Spanish and Cuban Origin.
Together with members of her company she has traveled and performed in many countries
including Spain, Russia, Korea, Mexico, Peru, Honduras and Columbia.
In 2022 Rosario moved with her Canadian husband of 11 years to Ontario and is currently the Music Director of Tottenham United Church. She is excited about her new position at Music Lessons Barrie, where she enjoys her relationship with founder Emer, and with the other instructors. She looks forward to contributing her knowledge and experience to the school. Her motivation is to help her students grow in the beautiful realm that music provides for a richer, more full experience of life.

Jeorge - I was surrounded by music of a highly professional level from a very young age. My father is a professional singer of musical theater and my mother is an accomplished and celebrated pianist and singer. Growing up, I was constantly watching them rehearse and prepare for shows. Practice, practice, practice! In 2015 I began my studies at the " Jose Maria Ochoa" Music Conservatory in my hometown Holguin, Cuba, graduating with honours and a Gold Certificate in 2019. I began my professional career in the " Rodrigo Prats" Operas and Zarzuelas Company as a chorus member. After graduating from the Conservatory, I began to study at the University of the Arts in Havana
(ISA), as a baritone. In my short trajectory, I was able to participate in tours, Concerts, and T.V. shows as a soloist and chorus member of the "Rodrigo Prats" Company.
I love all styles of music.
