In my time of performing, Only just recently was I awakened to the true gift that my talents have given me in a spiritual sense. Like most artists growing up, I was advised to choose a more "financially stable" path, or to choose which "one" path to pursue, only to find that I was torn at the thought of turning down any opportunity to perform. In the midst of this Confusion I explored multiple avenues of the Performing world as well as makeup artistry, Nannying, Modeling, Costume Design, Writing, and Directing.
It took me most of my life to realize that these individual skills are not separate “paths” in fact, but a Universal language utilized for my true Passion, human connection.
My love for the arts started at a young age, when I began participating in productions at my local theater. I found it to be a powerful way to find my voice, and have since gone on to pursue. After getting heavily involved with my chorus groups, School Musicals, and Thespian society productions in highschool, I went on to study performing arts at the American musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City, where I got my associates degree in Performing Arts.
After living there for a while I moved back to Atlanta, where I was introduced to the Electronic music scene. Through this scene I was able to transmute my previous theatrical talents into the Circus and Flow artist community, working my day jobs while learning these newfound skill sets on the weekends. After two years of working 3 jobs, (and serving one too many honey butters at my local texas roadhouse) ; I made the decision to Pursue Performing full time, building my brand as A creator. This is where I began to execute Character Design concepts on my own, and bring my dreams into fruition as an independent contractor.
Now that I am able to Concentrate more on my clientele, No opportunity is taken for granted. Being entrusted with your vision is both an honor and a privilege. I give attention to details because I believe art is just as much about the audience as it is the performer. Not only is it a show, but a once in a lifetime experience shared between those who are able to see it. Upon leaving this interaction, Audience members should feel just as seen and heard as the performer who was standing before them. The ability to give this feeling to others, This is what I live for
