Melanie Lacay

Last night she was the highlight of our wedding reception. A beautiful voice, great dj skills, reliable and professional. She arrived early, provided lighting which was great. She was flexible and worked with our budget. I can not say enough good things. Book her...you will not be disappointed.

Melanie is a wonderful performer. I have been privileged to see her perform at many places. She is punctual, reliable, extremely entertaining and she has a beautiful voice. She goes above and beyond to entertain her audience. I am always in awe and wanting more when the show is over. She can have my recommendation any day. You will not be disappointed.

Melanie has been hosting our Karaoke Nights since our opening day in 2012. She currently hosts Karaoke every other Thursday.She is always on time (a virtue that it seems not be shared lately in the industry) and has always been respectful and professional towards us as owners and the customers. Melanie won't drink while in shift and working which is highly appreciated in this industry not because we don't want to offer a tab but because it's not professional to get drunk while you are working and getting paid which a lot of people in the industry do. At the beginning we were a bit apprehensive of hosting Karaoke since we are wine bar and we were afraid it will turn tasteless or raunchy. She has always kept her cool and professional. Her repertoire and song list is big, classy and nice. If she does not have the song she will find it for the customer. She keeps the waiting time under control. She also reads the crowd and plays the appropriate music to the tune. Her voice is amazing and powerful and she will sing while in intermissions or in duos with customers. They love that. Also, when we have asked her to stay a bit longer she has always worked with us. We are not afraid to say she is the best in town. We consider Melanie part of our family at Vineyards of the World and we love to have her around!

Melanie has performed karaoke as well has performed as a singer at our restauarant in Clermont numerous time she is awesome!!! She has a beautiful voice and great stage presence.

I have had the privilege of not only being friends with Melanie since 2009, but also working with her.
She and I, both professional vocalists, worked part time hosting Karaoke for Sax Appeal Music in New York. Melanie always brings a positive, can-do attitude, a fun environment and great vocal prowess!
I have also been witness on numerous occasions to her performing in both solo and live band situations. She is easily able to adapt to whatever environment she is performing in along with being able to sing a plethora of different styles and genres.
I personally love listening to her perform almost as much as I love singing together. She is a wonderful asset to any event. Reliable, professional and incredibly talented, I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a vocalist, vocal coach, or karaoke host.
